Had a great time over Christmas at this place. Loved the spacious house and garden, plenty of room for everyone. The location was spot on, with everything within easy reach. The standout advantage was the stunning beach just a 10-minute walk away, it was absolutely breathtaking. Also, the beds were super comfy and the bedding was lovely.

On the downside, the dishwasher was a real pain as it kept tripping the circuit breaker. Ended up having to wash up by hand, which was a bit frustrating.

The cottage was well equipped and the attention to detail in the kitchen was excellent. the Tupperware boxes and cooking supplies were a nice touch. the house was clean and well presented, and the host provided a welcoming touch with Orcadian fudge on arrival. the location near Waulkmill Bay was convenient and offered good views. the garden was well tended and the host was very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at Kirbister Mill Farm Cottage! The value for money was excellent and the cottage itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect with a stunning beach just a 10-minute walk away, and it was easy to reach everywhere we wanted to go. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the little touches like fresh milk in the fridge and well-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. Emma, our host, was exceptional and had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were also delighted by the resident sheep and adorable lambs in the surrounding fields. an unforgettable experience and fantastic value for money.

The only thing that could have made our morning meal experience even better would be the addition of a few side lamps in the living room, as the only lighting option was the big central light. Additionally, it would have been convenient to have a small nest of tables so that everyone could enjoy their tea or drinks without having to reach too far.

The apartment at Kirbister Mill Farm Cottage was absolutely charming! It had a cozy and comfortable vibe that made me feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen was great for cooking meals with my friends, and the three separate bedrooms provided us with ample space to relax and unwind. We absolutely loved our stay!

As a personal preference, I would have preferred if the apartment had a washing machine. However, I understand that not everyone may feel the same way and it didn't detract too much from our overall enjoyment.
